How billing works. Activating your first Starter sub-account or changing the number of active Starter sub-accounts requires you to confirm the recurring amount with PayPal. A new sub-account stays switched off until PayPal confirms the subscription; a removed one stops working immediately, and confirming the lower amount is what stops you paying for it. Removing your last Starter sub-account cancels the subscription and stops future renewals.
If you run 13 or more sub-accounts, the flat $99 Agency plan is cheaper and avoids payment approvals when your sub-account count changes.
Questions about billing
When am I charged?
Approve your Starter subscription in PayPal when you activate your first sub-account. Every active sub-account is $8/month, including the first. For N sub-accounts, the monthly total is N × $8. Saved sub-accounts stay inactive until PayPal confirms payment.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancellation stops future charges and your sub-account links stop working. Nothing is deleted in GoHighLevel — we only ever store the connection details, never your contacts.
What if a payment fails?
Your sub-accounts keep working for 7 days while you sort it out, and you'll see a banner in the dashboard. After that they pause. We never delete your data over a failed payment.
Why do I approve changes to my sub-account count in PayPal?
Starter's recurring amount depends on the number of active sub-accounts. When you activate your first one or change that number, confirm the amount with PayPal. Agency has a flat monthly price, so adding or removing sub-accounts does not change its recurring amount or require a quantity-change approval.
Do you offer refunds?
Open a support ticket. If it didn't work for you, we'd rather refund you than argue about it.
